Welcome to Fosseberry House, where old English charm meets modern luxury. Once a historic pub, it now boasts "The Snug" bar with its original counter, perfect for cocktails and relaxation.

In winter, gather around one of five open fires, or in summer, enjoy terraces, a BBQ, and a Jacuzzi hot tub under the stars. Kids will love the walled grounds with swings, a playground, trampoline, go-karts, and a games shed.

The Snug Bar
Once a country pub, Fosseberry House pays homage to its past with a delicious gentlemen’s club (ladies welcome)-style snug, that’s all velvet chairs and panelled walls. Pour a pint or create a cocktail from the bar, light the candles, pop another log on the open fire and settle back to tell tall tales into the small hours.
The Family Lounge
Set in the heart of the house, this is the place to cosy up, in front of the fire and watch a movie or listen to your fellow guests playing the grand piano, a room to chill.
The Games Room Lounge
The place to play some music, pick up the Guitar, bang the drums, play one of the many board games, fire up the Xbox, watch an action movie or just debate the day.

Arguably one of the most popular rooms at Fosseberry house. Get the music on, chalk up your cue and play 8 ball pool, air hockey, table tennis, darts or table football, plenty to get the competitions going.

The Kitchen
Fosseberry House has a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with a Mercury range cooker, dual ovens, a 5-burner gas hob, a separate grill, plenty of fridge and freezer space, a wine chiller, ice machines, blenders, coffee makers, and all the utensils, pots, and pans you’ll need for cooking or baking.
The Dining Room
The grand dining table, seating 24, rests on marble floors beneath glittering chandeliers, surrounded by oak panelling and ancestral portraits, creating a dining experience to remember.
Take a night off with one of our recommended catering companies or order takeaways such as pizza from The Nelson in Marshfield, fish and chips from The Catherine Wheel, or Indian and Chinese from nearby towns.
For dining out, enjoy local pubs like The Catherine Wheel, The Lord Nelson, or The White Hart, or treat yourself to fine dining in Bath at The Ivy, The Olive Tree, or Menu Gordon Jones (advance booking essential).

Enjoy themed, quirky bedrooms, four-posters, 70’s funk, old school library to name but a few. Pick the room that’s got you written all over it.
The Garden & Grounds
Enjoy the evening on the decking area with the Jacuzzi hot tub, rattan sofas, and tables, all near the covered BBQ area, beautifully lit with fairy lights for a magical atmosphere. For more fun, open the "Garden Toys Shed" for a game of swing ball, croquet, giant Jenga, or lawn chess.
Kids can play football, cricket, or explore Woody’s adventure playground and swings in the woods. They can also jump on the trampoline, play giant chess on the lawn, ride pedal go-karts, or swing on Maisy the horse swing under the giant beech tree.
Fosseberry House is set in a secure walled garden with entrance gates, making it safe for both dogs and little ones to roam.

Fosseberry House is fully equipped with Bluetooth speaker systems throughout the ground floor, including the Snug bar, lounge, kitchen, games room lounge, games room, and even the hot tub. For a retro touch, there’s a turntable and amp to spin your vinyl and relive the golden age of music.
